It’s been 7 years of marriage, and my husband and I are finally able to buy a house on a single income. We still don’t make a ton, still in the 5 figures, and we have 60,000+ in debt. Needless to say, this isn’t the smartest decision we’ve ever made, however… we’ve been trying to get out of debt for 5 years and we’ve only gotten into more debt. So we are forcing ourselves to be able to afford our house.
Don’t judge.
